This program is powered by my service ID Ransomware, and thus is always updated with definitions on the latest known ransomwares and their ransom notes. This also allows it to be flexible in detecting the ransom notes, as it uses the exact same data ID Ransomware uses for identifying variants. When RansomNoteCleaner is first launched, it will contact the website, and pull down the latest information on known ransom notes; this is the only network activity done with the program, and no information about your system is uploaded or stored at all. If you have a network issue with reaching the website, the "Refresh Network" button is available to try again. Clicking the "Select Ransomware(s)" button allows for selecting the exact variant(s) to clean ransom notes from. This is recommended if you have already identified the ransomware, as it will take much less time to search for the notes. Once the ransomware variant(s) have been confirmed, you may press the "Search for Ransom Notes" button to select a directory (or whole drive), and start the search for known ransom notes. Once the scan has completed, the "Clean!" button will be available. A final window will display all found ransom notes before continuing with deletion. I highly recommend double-checking the file list before confirming the deletion. I am not responsible for loss of data if you confirm this step. A full log of deleted ransom notes will be saved to a file "RansomNoteCleaner.log" in the same directory RansomNoteCleaner is run from. Please note that this program does not decrypt data. The changes report can be produced in TEXT or HTML format and contains a list of all modifications that have taken place between snapshot 1 and snapshot 2. To use CHKUNIN to check changes, Regshot's output file must be in English and a .TXT file, not an html file. Regshot gives you the ability to ignore up to 99 folders if you want to. Usage: ----------------- You can use Regshot a couple of different ways: 1 - Just monitor registry changes 2 - Monitor registry changes and changes to specific folders 3 - Just monitor folders changes When you take a snapshot of your system and save it, a file called "Image1.log" is created in the "Installed" folder, and is deleted when you "Quit" Regshot. Repair Tasks v3.3 Repair Tasks v3.3 This project is a utility that makes repairs to the Windows Task schedule. In particular, it fixes problems where opening the Task Scheduler, or trying to configure Windows Backup, results in the message "The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with" (0x80041321). Searching the web reveals that this message has been seen from time to time, and the (rather laborious) set of steps that can be taken to correct it are fairly well-documented. However, it turns out that reverting to Windows 7 from Windows 10 generates this problem in spades. It can leave more than 40 scheduled tasks in a corrupt state. This is because many task registry keys and the task definitions to which they refer are updated by a Windows 10 upgrade, but only the registry keys are restored on reversion, so Task Scheduler finds that, for these tasks, the task registry keys and task definitions are now inconsistent. The general recommendation in response to this reversion problem seems to be to restore the system from backups. However, I'm never sure about overwriting chunks of my system from backups, and would rather go forwards. So, since the fix is well-known, and the main problem is just repeated execution, I decided to write a utility to automate the set of steps required. And now, I'm sharing my work in case it is of use to fellow sufferers, pending Microsoft getting their act together and fixing reversion. When the game starts Rick finds himself in a cave running from a rolling boulder, a famous scene from the Indiana Jones movie. Armed with a pistol and dynamite, Rick must fight hostiles and evade traps in three more levels. The second level of the game is set inside a pyramid located in Egypt. In the third level, Rick must venture to the Nazi stronghold of Schwarzendumpf castle to rescue captured Allied soldiers. The rescued soldiers tell him that the Nazis are planning a missile attack on London. Therefore, in the last level, Rick must infiltrate their secret missile base. Rick can jump and climb, as well as carry a limited amount of dynamite and ammunition for his gun. This gun is Rick's primary means of disposing of enemies. Most traps throughout the game that can kill Rick can also kill his enemies, which can be to the player's advantage. The dynamite sticks that Rick carries are generally used for solving puzzles, such as through exploding certain blocks (some of them fly towards the explosion, potentially killing Rick in the backfire). Rick is also armed with a pogo stick that allows him to paralyze enemies. Unusually, many of the traps in Rick Dangerous have no visible warning, which means that a player's initial progress through the game may consist of trial and error. When RKill runs it will kill malware processes and then import a Registry file that removes incorrect file associations and fixes policies that stop us from using certain tools. When finished it will display a log file that shows the processes that were terminated while the program was running. As RKill only terminates a program's running process, and does not delete any files, after running it you should not reboot your computer as any malware processes that are configured to start automatically will just be started again.
