The password hashing and salt derivation are robust. Features • No hassle file and text encryption Note from author: Some encryption utilities offer more-than-is-necessary options, and Fate was created to achieve very secure file and text encryption with no confusing options to consider. The ciphers used are ChaCha20, Aria(256), and Camellia(256) the modes used are CBC, CFB, OFB, and CTR. (ChaCha20 is a stream cipher and does not use modes) Fate sends your passwords through robust hashing and salting routines, and then calls on OpenSSL to do the actual encryption. The ciphers and modes are randomly chosen at runtime. These ciphers are all newer than the Rijndael cipher, aka AES, and are held in high regard by the cybersecurity community. Fate requires the use of OpenSSL and Cat, these two utilities are standard in every Linux distribution, but not so much on Windows. A copy of Windows ports of these two utils are in the zip file, you can place them in the working directory, you can place them in your path for a more permanent solution. A recent New York Times article by Kashmir Hill profiled clearview.ai, an unregulated facial recognition service that has downloaded over 3 billion photos of people from the Internet and social media and used them to build facial recognition models for millions of citizens without their knowledge or permission. Clearview.ai demonstrates just how easy it is to build invasive tools for monitoring and tracking using deep learning. So how do we protect ourselves against unauthorized third parties building facial recognition models that recognize us wherever we may go? Regulations can and will help restrict the use of machine learning by public companies but will have negligible impact on private organizations, individuals, or even other nation states with similar goals. The SAND Lab at University of Chicago has developed Fawkes1, an algorithm and software tool (running locally on your computer) that gives individuals the ability to limit how their own images can be used to track them. The 3 characters were specifically built with a certain input device in mind (keyboard, mouse, joypad) so that 3 players could play simultaneously without sharing devices. They each have different skills, weapons, movement speeds and upgrade patterns to suit there control device. -Keyboard controls Noah -[Shotgun] Z & X will fire each shotgun barrel, while directionals will move you around, you can double tap movement keys for a dash movement. You can edit his controls in config.ini in the root folder (each key uses a number - just use this as reference for remapping controls http://www.ascii-code.com/ ) -Joypad controls Abel- [Revolver] Left analog stick moves Abel around, flick the right analog stick to fire his weapon, kind of like the reload motion on a revolver. Flashpoint was started in January 2018 by BlueMaxima in an attempt to outrun the disappearance of content prior to the death of Flash. It has since evolved into an international project involving over 100 community contributors, encompassing both webgames and animations created for numerous internet plugins, frameworks, and standards. Flashpoint utilizes a strong selection of open-source software. By combining the power of Apache, a custom-built launcher, and our own application called the Flashpoint Secure Player, we can play web-based media in a quick, user-friendly environment without leaving permanent changes or security holes on your computer. We offer two versions of the software; Ultimate, which contains every piece of media in an offline ready format, and Infinity, a smaller distribution that allows you to download and play content at will.
