Running an app at system startup is easy; you can add it to the Startup folder on Windows. These apps run with normal user privileges and that’s fine in almost every case but Windows doesn’t allow elevated tasks at startup that is why you can’t just auto run programs with administrative privileges at startup. When running tasks or commands as administrator, Windows will throw a UAC (User Account Control) prompt that you’ll have to confirm if you want the task to run. You can create an elevated shortcut for the program that will allow you to bypass UAC Prompt and run the program without seeing the UAC Prompt in Windows by using Task Scheduler this requires many steps. For this reason, we have coded the application called Skip UAC prompt. This utility also allows you to enable or disable UAC for the apps of your choosing without entirely deactivating UAC systemwide. How to use Skip UAC Prompt Extract the zip file from the download link and double click the exe file suitable for your system, then you can drag n’ drop a program or shortcut to the Application interface, you can also use the first button (Add File) for the same operation. In SlunkCrypt, we uses 256 simulated rotors for an improved security. Furthermore, the original Enigma machine supported only 26 distinct symbols, i.e. the letters A to Z. In SlunkCrypt, we use 256 distinct symbols, i.e. the byte values 0x00 to 0xFF, which allows the encryption (and decryption) of arbitrary streams of bytes, rather than just plain text. Of course, SlunkCrypt can encrypt (and decrypt) text files as well. In the original Enigma machine, the signal passes through the rotors twice, once in forward direction and then again in backwards direction – thus the “reflector” wheel. This way, the Enigma’s encryption was made involutory, i.e. encryption and decryption were the same operation. While this was highly convenient, it also severely weakened the cryptographic strength of the Enigma machine, because the number of possible permutations was reduced drastically! This is one of the main reasons why the Enigma machine eventually was defeated. In SlunkCrypt, the signal passes through the simulated rotors just once, in order to maximize the number of possible permutations. If you try to run a signed executable file after you have made some changes in it, you'll get the following error message: String name validation failed for assembly... The file may have been tampered with or it was partially signed but not fully signed with the correct private key. SpaceSniffer v1.3.0.2 SpaceSniffer v1.3.0.2 SpaceSniffer is a freeWare and portable tool application that lets you understand how folders and files are structured on your disks. By using a Treemap visualization layout, you have immediate perception of where big folders and files are placed on your devices. Treemap concept was invented by Prof. Ben Shneiderman, who kindly permitted the use of his concept into this tool. Start a scan process and see the overall situation. Bigger are the elements on the view, bigger are folders and files on your disk. You need more detail on a big folder? Just single click on it. The selected element will be detailed with its content. Need more and more detail? Keep selecting elements and they'll discover their secrets to you. Need a larger view of a small folder? Then double click on it, and it'll zoom to the full extent of the view. If you need to understand why no more free space is left on media, keep following bigger elements. Maybe you want to focus only on particular file types... ok. Just type the file type on the filter field (example: *.jpg) and press enter. The view will react and show you only JPEG files. Want to exclude files? Then type a starting pipe before the filter (example: |*.jpg) and press enter. The view will show everything but JPEG files. If you want to keep track of examined files you can tag them. Four colors are available. Just hover the mouse on a file and press CTRL+1 to tag it red. There are keys also for yellow, green and blue tagging. Use them as you wish. You can also filter on tags (example: :red will show only red tagges files, :all will show all tagged files and so on).
