Wav2Bar is a free and open source audio visualization creator designed for producing animated music videos and visual effects synchronized to audio tracks. It allows users to combine visualizers, images, text, particle effects, timers, backgrounds, and custom objects into fully customizable projects that can be exported as MP4 videos for sharing online or integrating into larger productions. Built with flexibility in mind, Wav2Bar provides an editor-style workflow where users can design layered scenes and control how elements react to sound in real time. The software supports reusable project files, adjustable rendering quality, customizable frame rates and resolutions, and multiple visualizer styles for creating everything from simple waveform animations to complex motion graphics. Wav2Bar now warns if it is not able to write app data, which can lead to save failure for instance. Added a loading animation while caching audio file in save load. Additional context is now printed under the export progress bars to inform about potentially long processes, for which progress can't be tracked. Added shortcut buttons to pick another drive in the file picker. Changed: Reduced log spam at export. If only one extension kind is allowed, the extension will be automatically fixed instead of prompting the user to do so. Removed: App no longer scales based on DPI due to negative impact on rendering. Fixed: Temporary folder is never cleaned up. False information display for number of points count. Save files won't load correctly. Some log messages were lost in specific scenarios where the window could not be identified. Choosing no file in file picker leads to errors such as soft lock on save load. High DPI screens cause the app to scale, which includes intermediatory files for rendering.
