FluentCleaner Classic is a lightweight WinForms edition of FluentCleaner designed for users who prefer a minimal footprint, need compatibility with older Windows systems, or want a simple portable cleaner without the larger WinUI 3 runtime. While the modern FluentCleaner focuses on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with a WinUI 3 interface, FluentCleaner Classic uses the same FluentCleaner.Core cleaning engine and the same Winapp2/Winapp3 cleaning database in a compact .NET Framework application. Unlike the modern edition, FluentCleaner Classic is framework-dependent, requiring Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 already installed on the system. The application is fully portable, requires no installation, and provides category-based analysis and cleanup for Windows components, browsers, and supported applications using the community-maintained Winapp2 cleaning database. It is intended as a lightweight alternative while development continues alongside the primary FluentCleaner release.
