nPOPuk v3.04
nPOPuk v3.04 nPOPuk is a small, but comprehensive, e-mail client that runs on a wide range of Windows-based operating systems. The program download is incredibly small compared to other "small" or "portable" e-mail programs, many of which consume several megabytes of your disk space. When installed, the basic program and support files only require around three hundred and forty kilobytes of disk space. In the old days this allowed plenty of space for both program and stored mail on a floppy disk. These days, installing nPOPuk on a USB flash drive, with its extra capacity, makes life still better and most these days will opt for a larger version with built-in SLL facilities! nPOPuk does not write to the host computer's registry, or leave any other "fingerprint" behind on its hard disk. So, if you haven't a Laptop but will be visiting somewhere with a computer, then nPOPuk could be for you. It is so much better than using a web mail service which can never be as flexible as having your own copy of your mail for use even when the internet is not accessible. You can basically set it and forget it and not worry about leaving sensitive files, your hard disk filling up or suddenly running into errors when you often deal with attachments with the same name. -openfolder As the OutlookSecureTemp folder location is different for each user there is no way to deploy a single shortcut. With OutlookTempCleaner you can create a shortcut with the -openfolder startup switch to directly open the OutlookSecureTemp folder. The result is that you can deploy a standardized shortcut and allow users easy access to the folder. -foldersize With the -foldersize startup switch you can create a scheduled task (for instance; run once per week) to inform you of the current size of the folder. Pegasus Mail v4.73 Pegasus Mail is a free, standards-based electronic mail client suitable for use by single or multiple users on single computers or on local area networks. A proven product, it has served millions of users since it was released in 1990. It is extremely feature-rich and powerful, yet remains small and fast. June 7th 2018 - Pegasus Mail v4.73 Version 4.73 is a refresh release that updates components and fixes a minor security issue. New OpenSSL build This version includes OpenSSL v1.0.2n, a recent release with numerous fixes and with new capabilities such as support for Perfect Forward Secrecy. For those who are wondering why we have not moved from the v1.0.2 family of OpenSSL to v1.1.x, it's mainly because the move requires a number of code changes, and we want to be sure the v1.1.x stream is completely stable before migrating to it; rest assured that we will move to it in due course though. Security fix a DLL load order bug reported by security researcher "hyp3rlinx" has been fixed. We are not aware of any exploitation of this bug to date, and it is a fairly low-impact problem, but better to be safe than sorry. Completely updated Help system This is the first Pegasus Mail version 5 feature to make it to release - we are adding it ahead of v5 because it's extremely useful, and because it is also stands on its own well in either version. The new help file has been completely brought up to date, with a much improved appearance and a much improved table of contents and index. It is also far easier to maintain from a developer standpoint, so it should be simpler to keep it aggressively up-to-date ...
