CADCraft v0.5.0 👉 A free, open-source CAD program for creating and editing technical drawings. CADCraft is a computer-aided design and drafting program built around a command-based workflow. Create drawings by entering commands, clicking points, or using direct distance input. Object snaps, polar tracking, ortho mode, grips, and repeat commands help with precise drafting and editing. Organize work with layers, blocks, and paper-space layouts. Add associative dimensions, multileaders, tables, and hatch patterns, or use geometric and dimensional constraints to create drawings that update as you edit. CADCraft reads and writes ASCII and binary DXF files from R12 through 2018, opens DWG files from R13 through 2018, and exports drawings to PDF, SVG, and PNG. The program includes floating viewports, per-viewport layer overrides, page setups, and scale-exact plotting. Standalone command-line tools are also available for macOS and Linux. ![]() Features: Command-based drafting with point selection, direct distance entry, object snaps, polar tracking, and ortho mode Grips for editing drawing objects, plus right-click-to-repeat for common drafting commands Layer tools for organizing drawing objects and managing their appearance DXF support for reading and writing ASCII and binary drawings from R12 through 2018 DWG support for opening drawings from R13 through 2018 PDF, SVG, and PNG export for sharing or publishing drawings Paper-space layouts with floating viewports, page setups, per-viewport layer overrides, and scale-exact plotting Associative linear, aligned, angular, and radial dimensions that follow edited geometry Multileaders, tables, and custom drafting fonts for adding drawing annotations Pick-point boundary hatching with islands, pattern fills, and gradient fills Block definitions with attributes and support for nested blocks Geometric and dimensional constraints with expression parameters that re-solve as you edit Standalone command-line tools for macOS and Linux Supported operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11 (64-bit, 32-bit, and ARM64 builds) macOS (Intel and Apple silicon) Linux x86_64 and ARM64 (AppImage, Debian, Flatpak, RPM, and tarball packages) Supported languages: Auto System Language. English, Ukrainian (interface) Changes: [v0.5.0 10-11-26] Added a Ukrainian interface translation. Added light and system interface themes, dynamic pointer input, and a command history window. Improved DXF and DWG file handling, drafting commands, dimensions, hatching, and geometry. The Windows installer now offers a desktop shortcut. ![]() ![]() 👉 This download is for the Windows 64-bit installer version (very bottom of page).
