Alice in the Mushroom Hole for Linux
Alice in the Mushroom Hole for Linux Alice in the Mushroom Hole is a game where you falll down a hole while floating between three worlds. The mechanics feel like classic platformers, but unlike jump an run games there is no running and no active jumping. Instead your character flies down the hole and you have to move him left, right make him fly faster down and interact with different kinds of mushrooms, bubbles and have to avoid many different kinds of obstacles. Often you will require to switch over to another world by collecting corresponding coins. Then for example, a mushroom that was previously bouncing you up, now makes you tiny or will turn into a barrel that will shoot you somewhere else. The game is rounded out by a wonderful soundtrack composed by Jeremiah Pena.

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead v0.D-8766 for Linux
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead v0.D-8766 for Linux Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead is an open source apocalyptic survival roguelike with the ability to craft items, scavenge, forage, fight, and build both homes and vehicles. Originally created by Zachary "Whales" Jenkins, Cataclysm built up a decent following before the project was abandoned. The community never gave up on the game - a small group of dedicated modders, hackers, and contributors kept hacking a way at the code, even knowing it was never going to be mainlined, working instead on a myriad of mods played by the few players still lingering around slowly emptying forums. Eventually, they were contacted by a web developer with some space to spare, who was saddened by how a game with such great potential was dwindling, and saw an opportunity to truly breathe life back into the game. Darkling Wolf and Kevin Granade seized on the idea of spinning off a full-fledged branch project, as if they'd been waiting for the moment. The subtitle Dark Days Ahead was added to the end of the original name, a website was thrown together, and the word was sent out that, like the undead abominations that lurk it's street, Cataclysm was back on its feet and hungry for flesh blood. Since then, the team of active developers has grown. A number of developers have joined the project, and, with the aid of Let's Players like jefmajor, the fanbase has increased steadily, well past it's previous highs, and things are only looking up from here. There are some great new features in the pipeline, and the game is getting better every day. Hopefully, someday soon, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead will be as well known the giants of the genre, like Dungeon Crawl, ADOM and Unreal World. But we can't get there alone, so if ...

Gimphoto 1.4.3 for Linux
Gimphoto 1.4.3 for Linux Gimphoto is application software for photo and image editor. Gimphoto is based on Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program). Gimphoto is released under GPL. Gimphoto is a GIMP modification with new menu, additional plugins and resources to bring the best GIMP experience to Photoshop users. Why was this program created? Many GIMP users have discussed how GIMP must be improve in many areas before it can be used as free Photoshop alternative (even with earlier versions of Photoshop - 5.5 or 6). Area that must be improved are: - Features Color Management, CMYK Separation, 16 bit Mode, Batch Process, Layer Adjustment, Styles, Action. - User Interface Menu Structure, Menu Priority, Shortcuts, Toolbox and Dialog design, Windowing System (too many big buttons and white spaces). - Lack of Resources More useful brushset, More useful gradients, More useful pattern, More useful plugin (tight selection of plugins, only include commonly used and high quality plugins because loading brushset, gradients and plugins takes time). GIMP must be useful out of the box without further customization by user. Many of these features have been added to the GIMP 2.3 development series and many plugins have been developed to extend GIMP capabilities but these plugins are spread all over the internet and must be installed manually to get the best GIMP experience. I have tried my best to compose those components (GIMP latest version, best plugins, and best resources) into a single package that will provide an out of the box experience for GIMP. so I bring to you... Gimphoto.

Limit Load 0.20 for Linux
Limit Load 0.20 for Linux Limit Load is a cockpit flight game featuring modern military jets. It is more an arcade game than a simulation, as the level of realism has been adjusted to provide action-packed gameplay. While the main theme is generally set in modern times, the game is not meant to be shy of near-future military tech or even light sci-fi elements. Anyone with sufficient knowledge can add new content, such as new campaigns or playable jets, or improve the game core. The main focus is on the single-player experience, and the story is an important part of the game. There is a number of scripting interfaces for making in-game cutscenes, dramatic dialogues with event triggers, and theater-like content between the missions. Changes: New Version 0.20 Posted on Friday October 16th, 2015 It took a while, but we finally managed to resolve the biggest problem of previous version, and that is abnormal amount of time needed to create and load the terrain which some players have reported. Creation of terrain and clouds is now over 25 times faster, so even the weakest hardware on which we tried (A10-7850k) did the whole job in just 4.2 seconds. On this same hardware, earlier it took around 2 minutes for terrain to be created for the first time and cached. This also means that terrain caching is not needed any more. A side effect of this improvement is that we have halved the usage of system memory. In the meantime, a lot of things in the code was replaced, improved or added. Of the reported issues and the things that players may notice in general, we point out: – Creation of terrain and clouds is now 25 time faster, caching removed, and system memory usage halved. – Caching system for objects and textures is improved so the game should ...

Linux Reader v4.9
Linux Reader v4.9 Access files and folders on Ext, UFS, HFS, ReiserFS, or APFS file systems from Windows How to get safe and quick access to alternative file systems? DiskInternals Linux Reader is a new easy way to do this. This program plays the role of a bridge between your Windows and Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, HFS and ReiserFS file systems. This easy-to-use tool runs under Windows and allows you to browse Ext2/3/4, HFS and ReiserFS file systems There are a number of evident merits of the program, which you should know. First of all, DiskInternals Linux Reader is absolutely free. Secondly, the program provides for read-only access and does not allow you to make records in file system partitions. This guarantees that the interference in an alterative file system will not affect the work of Linux later. Apart from this, it is necessary to note, that it gives you an opportunity to use common Windows Explorer for extracting data. A preview option for pictures is one more pleasant point, which is worth mentioning. How to get safe and quick access to any file systems? DiskInternals Linux Reader is an easy and short way to solve the problem! While saving, it ignores file security policies. It means that it is possible to access absolutely any file on a Linux disk from Windows. The program can create and open disk images. Do not install the program on the disk where you're going to recover lost data. Never recover deleted files to the same disk. Use a different disk or disk partition instead. Linux Reader provides you with access to files on the following file systems: Ext2/3/4 ReiserFS, Reiser4 HFS, HFS+(reader) FAT, exFAT NTFS, ReFS UFS2 ...

NxFilter v4.3.5.3 Debian Linux
NxFilter v4.3.5.3 Debian Linux NxFilter is a freeware web-filter designed for enterprise environment. It started as a dns-filter. Now it provides web-proxy based filtering as well. NxFilter can do everything you can expect from a dns-filter or a web-filter. Faster and lighter Traditionally we made a web-filter based on HTTP proxy server. There are many commercial products based on Squid proxy. But with this approach you might have a serious latency problem on your network. This is because your web traffic needs to go through one point in your network that is your web-filter and it becomes a bottle neck in your network. This latency problem gets bigger when you have bigger number of users. But there’s another approach. That’s DNS filtering and NxFilter is a dns-filter. It’s basically a forwarding DNS server with filtering ability. Since it uses light weight DNS protocol there’s no need to have your traffic going through anywhere. You get no latency problem with NxFilter. Boosting up your Internet speed Some users reported that after they installed NxFilter on their network their Internet speed improved greatly. This is because NxFilter keeps local cache for DNS lookup. Suppose in your network everybody uses Google public DNS server or your ISP DNS server. Their DNS queries need to be sent to these DNS servers on the Internet and your users need to wait for the response back from these servers. But if you have NxFilter in your network it keeps cache for the DNS response from its upstream DNS servers and reduces the network traffic greatly and your users don’t need to wait for the response from these DNS servers on the Internet. Authentication Even though it’s faster and lighter compared to the traditional web-proxy based filtering, DNS filtering had its own limit in the past. It did not support user authentication. This ...
