The link is always in the same place. NegPy v0.17.2 👉 Open-source tool for processing RAW film negatives with film-and-paper-style conversion. NegPy is an open-source desktop tool for processing film negatives. It is made specifically for film scans and goes beyond simple inversion by simulating how film and photographic paper work, while adding lab-scanner-style conveniences for RAW negative conversion, slide film, batch workflows, cleanup, and print-ready export.  Features: Processes RAW film negatives with tools made specifically for film scans Simulates film and photographic paper behavior instead of using simple linear inversion Uses channel sensitometry math to neutralize the orange mask without camera profiles or border color picking Dedicated E-6 mode for positive and slide film Optional normalization for expired or faded slide film Batch normalization analyzes all loaded files and applies averaged settings GPU acceleration for real-time processing and export rendering using Vulkan or Metal Automatic and manual dust removal with healing tools and grain synthesis Supports standard RAW and TIFF files Supports specialized formats such as Kodak Pakon scanner raw files Non-destructive workflow keeps original files untouched Stores edits as recipes in a local SQLite database keyed by file hash Keeps edits even if files are moved or renamed Persistent undo and redo with up to 100 saved edits Print-ready export module with border controls, ICC soft-proofing, and dynamic filename templating Supported operating systems: Windows 10/11 macOS ARM64 Linux Supported languages: English Changes: v0.17.2 05-04-26 Fix: batch normalization and batch export progress bars now properly updates on status bar. Fix: export filename templating now preserves original_name verbatim - dashes, spaces, and multiple/leading/trailing underscores in the original filename are no longer mangled by the cleanup pass. Changed default export filename pattern from positive_{{ original_name }} to {{ original_name }}. Changed default export colorspace to be Same as source (detected from input file). UX: Status bar - replaced zoom % and resolution (shown elsewhere) with a file position counter (3 / 12) for batch workflows. Note: This file has two hits on VirusTotal. We have confirmed these to be false positives. The file is safe. This download is for the Windows 64bit version (very bottom of page).
