| Commodore Repair Toolbox v2025-March-10 Commodore Repair Toolbox v2025-March-10 A Windows .NET Framework utility tool for Commodore hardware repairing and diagnosing. With Commodore Repair Toolbox (CRT) you can easily view schematics, zoom in/out, identify components, see chip pinouts, study datasheets, resources and various other information, helping you diagnosing and repairing good old vintage hardware. It is primarily dedicated to Commodore, and have a few built-in configurations for Commodore computers, but it does support any kind of hardware, as you can add your own data - e.g. other computers, radios, DIY electronics or whatever else you can imagine. It probably works the best, if the hardware is "simple" and have good documentation available, and if it is something you need to revisit multiple times - then you can add the needed information yourself, and use it for easy future reference. Supported operating systems: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (both 32-bit and 64-bit) Changes: v2025-March-10 First public BETA available Digitally signed executable in ZIP file Click here to visit the author's website. |

| LinX v0.6.5 LinX v0.6.5 A simple GUI for Intel® Linpack Benchmark. About LinPack The main point of Linpack is to solve systems of linear equations of the given size (Problem Size). It is designed as a benchark to test the performance of a system in GFlops - billions of floating point operation per second. But being highly optimized it is also the most stressful CPU testing program to date and is a great tool in determining stability/instability of a CPU, outperforming other CPU testing software at least time-wise. One and the same system of equations is solved repeatedly; if all results match each other - the CPU is stable, otherwise the instability is obvious, since the same equations system cannot produce different solutions. Overview of LinX «File -> Save Screenshot» menu item. Saves main window's screenshot into program folder in a PNG format. «File -> Save Text Log» menu item. During or after testing saves a text log with testing results into program folder. «File —> Exit» menu item. Exits the program. (Who'd had thought?) «Settings» menu item. Opens a window with Linpack's and LinX's additional settings. «Settings» window: Main Linpack Settings: -testing mode (32-bit/64-bit). By default is set to OS type; -Linpack rocess priority. Setting this value higher than «Normal» is not recommended; -number of threads Linpack creates. By default is set to the number of logical processors (including HyperThreading-cores); -data alignment. 4 KiB by default, equal to the page size in Windows OS; -optimal Leading Dimensions. The Leading Dimensions value will be set to the nearest odd multiple of 8 higher than or equal to the Problem Size value (supposed to produce better performance) Advanced settings. These are to be changed only if you ... |

| Memory Checker v1.2.3 Memory Checker v1.2.3 A simple memory stress-testing tool. It is useful to test the reliability of your computer's main memory (RAM) under “high” load. Because the Memory Checker runs as a “normal” Windows application, it is very easy to use. See the limitations below. Disclaimer Memory Checker puts a high stress on your computer's hardware and thus may trigger hardware problems that otherwise would have remained unnoticed. Be patient when running this tool. Your computer may appear to be frozen but it is not. It is possible that this will cause your system to crash. In extremely rare circumstances even permanent damage or data loss is possible! In no event will the authors of this program be liable to you for damages, including any general, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the program; including but not limited to loss of data or data being rendered inaccurate or losses sustained by you or third parties or a failure of the program to operate with any other programs. By running this program on your machine, you acknowledge and agree that the use of this program is at your own risk. Synopsis The Memory Checker program is invoked as follows: MemoryChecker.exe [OPTIONS] [<target_memory_size>[%]] [<threads>] Specifying the amount of memory to be tested and the number of threads to be used is optional. If not specified explicitly, default values apply. The amount of memory to be tested can be specified as a percentage of the total physical memory. Note: Its is highly recommended to close all other programs that are running on your machine before the Memory Checker tool is launched. Options The following command-line options are available: --batch: Exit the program immediately (i.e. do not wait for a key press) when the test has completed or failed. --continuous: ... |

| MemTest v7.0 MemTest v7.0 A free RAM tester that runs under Windows. It verifies that your computer can reliably store and retrieve data from memory. A correctly functioning computer should be able to do this with 100% accuracy day in and day out. A computer that fails these tests, perhaps because of old hardware, damaged hardware, or poorly configured hardware, will be less stable and crash more often. Even worse, it will become even less stable over time as corrupted data is written to your hard disk. By running MemTest you can ensure that your computer's RAM correctly functions. It is wise to test this when you buy a new computer, install new RAM, or change the configuration of your machine (for instance, to overclock it). Are you the sort of user who likes to push the performance of your machine to the edge? Relying upon whether your machine will boot after your new BIOS tweaks is a poor way to determine the safety of your new settings. Use Mem Test as a true test of stability. | Memtest86+ v7.20 Memtest86+ v7.20 The open source memory testing tool. Memtest86+ is a stand-alone memory tester for x86 and x86-64 architecture computers. It provides a more thorough memory check than that provided by BIOS memory tests. Memtest86+ can be loaded and run either directly by a PC BIOS (legacy or UEFI) or via an intermediate bootloader that supports the Linux 16-bit, 32-bit, 64-bit, or EFI handover boot protocol. It should work on any Pentium class or later 32-bit or 64-bit x86 CPU. Why test your RAM? Troubleshoot PC Instabilities Memory errors are one of the most common causes of crashes, freezes and instabilities. If you encounter such issues with your computer, testing your RAM thoroughly is probably the first thing to do. Memtest86+ uses various algorithms to reliably detect failures. It will let you know if your RAM is faulty or not. Ensure Initial Stability Before using your brand-new PC, putting your new server into production, or after having overclocked your CPU or RAM, it's often wise to make sure there are no memory issues. Troubleshooting issues later can be annoying, costly, and time-consuming. Licensing General Public License v2 Memtest86+ v6 is a unified, free, open-source memory testing tool, released under GNU GPL v2.0. The new v6 code base (originally called PCMemTest) was provided by Martin Whitaker, based on Memtest86+ v5, developed by Sam Demeulemeester. Both are now working on Memtest86+. Memtest86+ is unrelated to 'Memtest86', a closed-source software. For usage and troubleshooting: See the READ ME file. Changes: v7.20 Add support for Loongson LA64 arch Add support for latest Intel CPUs (ARL/MTL) Add support for latest AMD CPUs (Zen5) Preliminary support for NUMA Bug fixes and optimizations This download is for the Windows USB Installer (32/64 bits) version.
