CryptSync v1.4.4
CryptSync v1.4.4 A small utility that synchronizes two folders while encrypting the contents in one folder. That means one of the two folders has all files unencrypted (the files you work with) and the other folder has all the files encrypted. The synchronization works both ways: a change in one folder gets synchronized to the other folder. If a file is added or modified in the unencrypted folder, it gets encrypted. If a file is added or modified in the encrypted folder, it gets decrypted to the other folder. This is best used together with cloud storage tools like OneDrive, DropBox or Google Drive. If you want to use such cloud storage for backups, it's a good idea to keep your private data really private. That means only uploading encrypted files to make sure no one else can access your data. Because even if the companies behind the cloud storage guarantee your privacy, it's always possible that your account gets hacked: so make sure you use a different password to encrypt the data with CryptSync than you use to login to your cloud storage provider! If you want to backup and encrypt your files to more than one cloud storage (just to be safe), you can do that as well: just set up two sync pairs with the original folder being the same for both pairs. Of course, you can use CryptSync for backups to an external drive as well. You can even use CryptSync from the command line to trigger your encrypted backups. CryptSync works by synchronizing folder pairs. One folder is called the original folder: that's where your unencrypted files are stored and where you work with your files. The second folder of such a pair is the encrypted folder which is where the files get copied from the original folder and encrypted. The encrypted ...

DirSync Pro v1.53 for Mac
DirSync Pro v1.53 for Mac DirSync Pro is a small, but powerful utility for file and folder synchronization. DirSync Pro can be used to synchronize the content of one or many folders recursively. Use DirSync Pro to easily synchronize files from your desktop PC to your USB-stick (/Externa HD/PDA/Notebook, ...). Use this USB-stick (/Externa HD/PDA/Notebook, ...) to synchronize files to another desktop PC. Using DirSync Pro you can make incremental backups. In this way you'll spare lots of time because you don't have to copy all the files each time you want to update your backup; only new/modified/larger files would be copied. DirSync Pro provides some preconfigured modes (e.g. Mirror, Backup, Contribute, …) for common synchronization and backup tasks and some custom modes in which the user could set up the synchronization behavior to meet specific wishes. Prior to synchronization, DirSync Pro perfoms an analysis on files and folders and detect any kind of changes to any file/directory in the source. If a file is for example modified, removed, deleted, renamed in the source DirSync Pro synchronizes the destination accordingly. DirSync Pro detects also changes to file meta data (e.g. DOS attributes, POSIX file ownerships/group/permissions) and could preserve them to the destination file/directories. DirSync Pro has a user-friendly User Interface which helps you configure many options to your needs. You can use DirSync Pro also through the command line which makes it very flexible for running in batches. DirSync Pro lets you define advanced filters based of filename patterns (textual and regular expression based), file sizes, modification dates, file paths and file meta data to include or exclude file/directories as desired. DirSync Pro has a powerful schedule engine which lets you schedule synchronization tasks on many different ways, minutely, hourly, daily, weekly and monthly. Advanced users may use tons of options available in DirSync ...

DirSync v8.4
DirSync v8.4 DirSync is a Windows utility for keeping two directories in "sync". You specify a source and target directory and DirSync will ensure the files in the target directory exactly match the files in the source directory. Directory structure is also synced, ie if a directory or file exists in the target directory that does not exist in the source directory it will be deleted. Only files or directories that have changed will be copied to save bandwidth and time. Scripts can be used to automatically sync multiple directories. UNC paths are supported for syncing between two or more servers. DirSync supports command line parameters to allow it to run "hands free" or to be executed from a batch file. Options exist to launch programs before and after the sync runs. So if you want to stop a database before the backup and restarting once the backup completes you can do so automatically. Errors are handled without crashing the program so if the target directory from one of the script entries is not available the rest of the script will continue to run. Horodruin v5.9.433.0
Horodruin v5.9.433.0 From the author, Frequently I am in need to update a folder taking files from many different folders (and finally update them too). I looked on the web but I haven’t found anything that could easily do this dirty work. So I wrote this small program. It is a file synchronizer with unique features like handling more than 2 folders with just few clicks. It’s very simple, but I strongly recommend to read the included documentation. It has the following key features: multiple folder handling (2 or more). the folder analysis can be modified on your needs. the ability to handle project files. the ability to save in a separate folder the source changes (Export Delta). multithreaded. optimal file multithreaded copy engine (by using temporary file and/or by overwriting files). configurable. You can easily integrate it with a text editor, a hex editor, and a diff viewer. minimal registry usage (only for Explorer integration). small, fast, and clean. HTML Help included. for advanced users only!!! The program is freeware and it is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 4.0 Unported License Creative Common license. Changes: v5.9.433.0 (26/10/2019) – (copy engine) improved internal synchronization. – minor internal improvements. – minor fixes. Click here to visit the author's website.

RoboMirror v2.0
RoboMirror v2.0 A portable, graphical interface for Robocopy for mirroring folders. RoboMirror's aim is to provide a very simple and user-centered GUI for Robocopy to allow for easy synchronization of two directory trees, e.g., to perform a robust incremental backup, both locally (e.g., to an external hard disk) and across the network. Additionally, RoboMirror supports volume shadow copies. By using shadow copies, all files can be copied, including files locked by running processes (Outlook, SQL Server...). Robocopy is shipped with Windows since Vista and available as free SDK tool for previous Windows versions (RoboMirror already includes it). It allows to robustly synchronize two directory trees, both locally and across the network. It is therefore often used for mirroring purposes, e.g., as a powerful yet free backup utility. Features Very simple graphical interface Simplicity was one of the primary goals as I started coding this little application when my mum asked me for a simple backup tool. I was not able to find something I was looking for, so I started this project with the aim to be as simple as possible while still providing for what most users need, e.g., performing backups of folders to external hard drives or network shares, synchronizing an MP3 player with the music folder etc. Managing mirror tasks RoboMirror is based on a set of mirror tasks. A mirror task consists in a source folder and a target folder. When performing a backup, new and modified files and folders in the source folder will be copied to the target folder. When performing a restore operation, the operation is reversed by swapping source and target folders, i.e., new and differing files and folders in the target folder will be copied to the source folder. The Overwrite newer files option controls whether newer files in the target (restore operation: source) folder are to be overwritten by older ...
