Ping Alert v5.6 Setup any number of consecutive PING loss to get alert - PING monitor your internet or LAN servers with SMS / Mail / Sound alerts when get consecutive PING loss. Setup consecutive 1 or 2 or 3,..10..20..100.... ping loss to send you alert Alert you once only when PING normal -> PING consecutive loss -> PING normal status changed - It does not keep sending you alerts when it remains PING loss. Let you know when it is abnormal and when it is back exactly. Alerts include SMS, Email and Sound. SMS and Email alerts send out from our server and has option to email additional alert via Local/ Gmail/ Yahoo/ Hotmail SMTP server at the same time to ensure you can receive alerts independent of our servers. I am Alive mail notification - Has option to setup mailing you the current monitoring log periodically to let you know monitoring program is up and running Save PING loss data to log file and separate the log files by date automatically. Different alert text for different host - Set up different text for different host alert message Allow to limit SMS sending a day - Cap # of SMS sending to avoid large SMS alert when abnormal situation happened. if you set max. # is 10 then the 10th SMS will have 10/10 in the end. No SMS alert but you still can get mail alert. Counter will be reset at 00:00 to let you get SMS alert next day Not only monitor PING timeout but also monitor all other PING situation - Also include host is "Request Time Out","Dest Network Not Reachable" "Dest Host Not Reachable", "TTL Expired in Transit","TTL Expired Reassemb" .....etc Monitoring locally and send SMS alert locally or globally to your clients. Below is alert text examples. You can setup alert text or use program default. Use default alert text 2015-06-13 23:47:37 192.168.1.100 Ping Timeout ... 87 seconds (20 times) ping timeout from 2015-06-13 23:46:10 to 23:47:37 2015-06-14 01:22:32 Ping OK , Back to Normal Reply from 61.219.38.89: Bytes = 32 RTT = 2ms TTL = 64 Or setup your alert text for different servers Timeout text example setup "AP1 MYSQL 192.168.0.1 Ping Timeout. <duration>" You will receive "2015-05-28 07:25:58 AP1 MYSQL 192.168.0.1 Ping Timeout. 133 seconds (30 times) ping timeout from 2015-05-28 07:23:45 to 07:25:58" Back text example setup "AP1 MYSQL 192.168.0.1 Ping OK, restored. <response>" You will receive "2015-05-28 08:30:32 AP1 MYSQL 192.168.0.1 Ping OK, restored. Reply from 192.168.0.1 Bytes = 32 RTT = 2ms TTL = 64" Variable <duration> and <response> - <duration> for "timeou SMS" , it will be replaced by "xx seconds (yy times) ping timeout from yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss to hh:mm:ss" <response> for "back to norma SMS" , it will be replaced by "Reply from xx.xx.xx.xx Bytes = xx RTT = xms TTL = xx" Notice : put <duration> for "Timeout SMS" and <response> for "Back to normal SMS". It will not be replaced if you put the variable in wrong way 1. Click Add Host first to show the "Add New Host Name" screen. In "Add New Host Name" screen Input a) Host name / IP b) Description Select a) # of packet b) Bytes of packet c) "# of consecutive packets timeout to send alert" (This # will be changed whenever the "# of packet" changed) Click a) Enable to send alert message b) click on to use program default SMS text or click off to define your own SMS text for "timeout SMS" and "Back to Normal SMS" Input "Mobile # to receive sms alert" Click a) Enable mail alert b) input the "mail to" mail address and save  2. Click File to setup Click "Enable sending alerts" input "account" and password which you have registered in sms4mail.com. you can click here to register to get password Select "Cap max SMS sending a day" to avoid unexpected situation Optional Click "Enable sending mail server via second SMTP server" to get mail alert without alert loss. Your own server or Yahoo / Hotmail SMTP (Gmail is not supported) I am alive notice" to let you know program keep monitoring and mail you the latest PING log periodically via your own or public SMTP server.
