Tweakeze v2.17.1777 Tweakeze v2.17.1777 A pro-active smart tool preventing undesired changes to your computer. Tweakeze (tweak-easy) is a software tool designed to watch(monitor) changes on Microsoft Windows file system and Registry database. In order for any folders/files and/or Registry keys/values to be watched, a set of instructions called “Watcher” must be created. Watchers can be created using the “Creator” screen: Once a Watcher is created and saved to a “.twk” file, they are displayed in the “Watchers” Screen: The application displays real-time status for a specific Watcher and allow users to manually fix the problem on-the-spot. Or by pressing the “Watch” button, Tweakeze is sent to the system tray and will start watching any checked Watcher in the “Watchers” screen. When watched items are changed by any means, the application will invoke pre-defined “Action(s)”. Each month when I have to pay bills I hate having to write out the envelopes (I am not lazy, my hand actually hurts when I handwrite). So I wanted to be able to print them out as I need them and have the addresses I choose. While I could have custom ordered envelopes I decided why not just print out my own and save money from having to order custom ones? So I made Tweaking.com - Envelope Printer. Not only will it save and store all the addresses you want but it can even print out a picture along side your return address for a added personal touch to the envelopes. In this case my company logo. So now when I pay bills and need an envelope I put an envelope in my printer, then open the program, load the address and hit print. While I could have used MS Office Word and other 3rd party programs to print out envelopes, I wanted something that was far easier to use and that required a heck of a lot less mouse clicks to get the job done. The program remembers your settings, so once all ready to go you can open the program, open the address book, choose the address hit use this address and the click print. 4 mouse clicks and you are done :-) Change Log: v2.0.1 Fixed bug where the program wouldn't open and would give an error that it couldn't load a push button. This was due to a bug in the controls I use and is now fixed. |

There have many many games that I have played that will crash or lock up. The problem is when they would do this the game window would stay open, and I couldn't get back to the desktop. Nothing I did could get the desktop to come back, even ctrl + Alt + Delete wouldn't get the task manger to open. This is because the game was set to be on top of everything else. So the only option was restart the computer. Now with this tool I can hit the Global Keys on my keyboard I set, the program will loop through all the processes on the system killing any that are not responding. The attacks were trying to brute force the password for the administrator account. The Windows Event Viewer was not showing which IP address the connections were coming from. They were also coming from multiple locations and hitting at random times during the day and night. So tracking them down with the built in Windows tools was going nowhere. So I decided to make a tool that will monitor and log any IP that hits the remote desktop and to be able to block those IP's. This free program will monitor the remote desktop port using the Windows netstat API and keep them in a log for later viewing. The program has a built in block IP tool to easily block any IP address. It does this by using the built in Windows IP Security Policy (IPSec). It can only block IP's, but it can not unblock them. uGiffer v0.9.10 uGiffer v0.9.10 Formerly Giffer. The program records contents of the screen within its light-green frame and then produces an animated GIF from the capture. It works by grabbing frames as quickly as possible, but not exceeding 100 FPS. Higher FPS doesn't make sense, because the smallest per-frame delay in GIF is 1/100 of a second => 100 FPS max, at best. For each frame it checks if it's different from the last saved frame. If it's, then it saves it as .bmp in a work folder (see below) and notes duration of the previous frame in index.txt file, also in the work folder. Once the recording is stopped, it goes through index.txt and assembles saved frames in a GIF and saves it in the work folder. It then deletes all .bmp files and index.txt, and opens resulting .gif in default viewer (that would usually be the web browser). -- Controls -- F1 starts recording. Alternatively - double-click on the window title. To stop recording and make a GIF, hit F1 again. To cancel recording and discard the capture, hit Esc. When idle, Esc minimizes the window. F2 run a benchmark. The program just tries to grab frames as quickly as possible without saving them. The purpose of this is to estimate the max achievable FPS for the screen and frame size.
