If you can uninstall the agent software normally, you should do this prior to running the tool.  Important: This tool MUST be Run as an Administrator to function correctly. Once run, the system may be automatically rebooted. The -spquiet switch can be used to run the tool silently. When running the VIPRE removal tool, it will prompt for a reboot, this is necessary to remove all of the VIPRE files on the current system. You must log back in as the same user after the reboot has occurred. After running the Removal tool, and rebooting, the VIPRE Removal Tool will prompt to run again, and let you know that the VIPRE agent was successfully removed.
