During development, Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware has blocked every single ransomware variant we have thrown at it. We are extremely satisfied with its results and are excited to bring this technology to our user community for further testing. VERY IMPORTANT: Do not run the free version of Malwarebytes 3 or 4 and Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware side-by-side. They have components in common and are not designed to run together. If you wish to have both Malwarebytes on-demand scanning and Anti-Ransomware then a Malwarebytes Premium license is the best option. A premium license can be purchased through the free version of Malwarebytes.
