AVG LinkScanner 2014.4335
AVG LinkScanner 2014.4335 Nowadays, there are far more threats out there than plain viruses. You have probably come across the term spyware as well, however, authors of malicious codes and dangerous websites are very innovative, and new kinds of threats emerge quite often, the vast majority of which are on the Internet. Here are some of the most common: Exploit is a malicious code that takes advantage of a flaw or vulnerability in an operating system, Internet browser, or other essential program. Social engineering is a common term for various techniques used to trick people into giving away their personal information (passwords, bank account details, credit card numbers etc.). A typical example of social engineering is phishing – an attempt to acquire sensitive personal data by shamming a trustworthy and well-known organization. Usually, the potential victims are contacted by a bulk e-mail asking them to e.g. update their bank account details. In order to do that, they are invited to follow the link provided which then leads to a fake website of the bank. Scam can be also considered a kind of social engineering; it includes false job offers, or ones that will abuse the workers for illegal activities, summons to withdraw a large sum of money, fraudulent lotteries and the like. Hoax is a bulk e-mail containing dangerous, alarming or just bothering and useless information. Many of the above threats use hoax e-mail messages to spread. Finally, malicious websites are ones that deliberately install malicious software on your computer, and hacked sites do just the same, only these are legitimate websites that have been compromised into infecting visitors. AVG LinkScanner is here to protect you from all these online threats. AVG LinkScanner is up and running immediately from the moment of installation. All basic settings have been pre-set by the manufacturer, so most of the ...

Earth Alerts 2017.1.42
Earth Alerts 2017.1.42 Earth Alerts is a Windows-based application that allows you to monitor in near real-time a variety of natural hazard events that are occurring anywhere around the world. Alert notifications, reports, and imagery provide the user with a convenient way to view natural phenomenon as they occur, whether close to home or some far-flung corner of the globe! Earth Alerts uses a variety of online resources provided by organizations such as the National Weather Service, U.S. Geological Survey and Smithsonian Institution (just to name a few), to identify what sort of activities "Mother Earth" is currently dishing out on the planet. To use Earth Alerts, you simply select the specific natural hazards -- earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, tropical cyclones, wildfires, landslides, severe weather, local weather, etc. -- and the locations that interest you. The application will then automatically retrieve the latest information from various live data feeds available on the Internet and present it to you in a convenient arrangement of reports, maps and images. Earth Alerts has been available to the general public since 2005. In that time it has undergone a number of significant enhancements. As a hobby, a one man production and a labor of love, conceiving the ideas and creating Earth Alerts has been a (time consuming) pet project over the past few years! Much More than a weather monitoring program Earth Alerts includes basic weather tracking features such as National Weather Service alerts, current conditions, local forecasts and radar/satellite imagery. Note that this program does not provide the most extensive weather data or "fanciest" weather related imagery compared to what is available online. If weather information is all you're interested in, then Earth Alerts is probably NOT for you. There are many comprehensive applications, web browser add-ins, and websites available for monitoring weather. Guess what? I use ...

EMCO WakeOnLan 2.10.6
EMCO WakeOnLan 2.10.6 An advanced Wake-on-LAN utility, that is ready to work in networks of any scale, to power up one or any number of remote PCs with one mouse click. No manual work is required to wake up PCs. The application automatically detects MAC addresses using four different methods and send WOL packets to one or multiple PCs. Professional version also allows to create reusable WOL tasks and schedule them for an automatic execution. Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is a networking standard that allows to power on PC by sending it a network message. There is not a standard implementation for Windows, but a number of third-party utilities implement Wake-on-LAN to allow wake up PCs remotely. Usually Wake-on-LAN utilities can wake up only one PC and are useless if you need to turn on multiple PCs at once. Also they require you to enter MAC address of remote PC manually to send it a WOL packet. Some of Wake-on-LAN implementations can detect MAC address, but used detection methods don't work in a complex network environment. Why EMCO WakeOnLan Free is Different? EMCO WakeOnLan is a free tool that helps you to avoid all these well-known problems, described above. Unlike other Wake-on-LAN implementations, it allows you to wake up multiple remote PCs simultaneously, in scope of one operation. The application also is able to retrieve MAC address automatically, using one of four MAC detection methods, that is the best for your network environment. MAC addresses are saved to the database, so you can save time and skip detecting them again on next WOL operation. Advanced UI allows you to configure own groups of PCs and wake up all PCs in group with one mouse click. Get Advantages with EMCO WakeOnLan Professional EMCO WakeOnLan Professional offers additional features that allows you to completely automate using Wake-on-LAN operations in your ...

Eternal Blues 0.0.0.8
Eternal Blues 0.0.0.8 Eternal Blues is a free EternalBlue vulnerability scanner. It helps finding the blind spots in your network, these endpoints that are still vulnerable to EternalBlue. Just hit the SCAN button and you will immediately start to get which of your computers are vulnerable and which aren’t. That’s it. If you wish, you can switch networks, or edit your own (yeah, you can also scan the world wide web if you wish). Please use it for good cause only. We have enough bad guys already… Was this tool tested in real networks? Oh yeah. Obviously I cannot say which, but with almost every network I connected to, there were a few vulnerable computers. IMPORTANT: It does *not* exploit the vulnerability, but just checks whether it is exploitable. Yet another vulnerability scanner? There are many vulnerability scanners out there. So… why did I create another? Mainly for the ease of use. The majority of latest WannaCry, NoPetya (Petya, GoldenEye or whatever) victims, are not technical organizations and sometimes just small business who don’t have a security team, or even just an IT team to help them mitigate this. Running NMap, Metasploit (not to mention more commercial products) is something they will never do. I aimed to create a simple ‘one-button’ tool that tells you one thing and one thing only – which systems are vulnerable in your network. Tips If you’re about to run it in your working environment, please update the IT/Security team in advance. You don’t want to cause (IDS/IPS/AV) false alarms If vulnerable systems were found – please take a Windows update asap For God’s sake, please disable SMBv1 already. Whether your systems are patched or not. This protocol was written over 3 decades ago…! If you would like to enjoy the ...

ExtractFace 6.3.2
ExtractFace 6.3.2 Investigators, researchers or other analysts often have to get local copies of Facebook data. It can be necessary for a lot of reasons like submitting Facebook data as evidence, doing advanced offline analysis, etc. But Facebook interface has not been designed for that and does not provide printing or saving functions. Even for a user that want a copy of a conversation in his profile, there is no simple solution. ExtractFace has been designed to help people to extract data from Facebook. It provides usefull functions to automate a lot of tasks that have to be done manually otherwise. See documentation for more details. How it works ExtractFace can be installed using the installer or used as a standalone application. In order to start using it, just run the executable file from the start menu or the directory you install it. While running, you can access functions by right clicking the ExtractFace tray icon in the taskbar. I recommend you to customize your taskbar to make this tray icon always visible. If you don't know how to do it, look at this page: How to Customize and Tweak Your System Tray Icons in Windows. ExtractFace uses MozRepl add-on* to automate Mozilla Firefox browser. So you can crawl Facebook as normal with Firefox and use ExtractFace to automate some annoying things like scrolling or clicking in order to get additional content. When the content is fully loaded in your browser, you can print to PDF, capture screen, or use ExtractFace again to dump the data in a usefull way. Be aware that you better should not use Firefox when a ExtractFace function is running. Firemin 6.1.0.4998
Firemin 6.1.0.4998 From the author: One of the biggest “improvements” that Mozilla claims is the Firefox memory usage, in particular, the vanquishing of memory leaks. Although Firefox memory usage improved a little over the last few years, it still uses a lot of memory; a little more than I feel comfortable with and for this reason I created Firemin. Memory Leaks We like keeping our apps running for a few days (that’s just the way I roll) and because of this Firefox was using over ~800MB of memory after about 3 days. It’s quite normal for Firefox to be sucking up over 200MB of memory right off the bat. In a memory leak you’ll see the memory usage keep increasing the longer the program is open/in-use and this is exactly what happens with Firefox. Enter Firemin Rather than complain about it, we decided to fix it. Enter Firemin; simply put, it will attempt to eliminate Firefox memory leaks and decrease the amount of memory Firefox uses. All I did was tweak our Memory Booster a little and applied it to Firefox (including Firefox extensions) and all the memory leaks was gone. Firemin vs. Windows Memory Management Windows will also periodically scan running processes and tell them to release their unused memory. You could argue that this makes Firemin unnecessary, and you would be spot on. However, It is my opinion that Windows does not clean out memory as often as I would like it to. Firemin runs the clean memory API call a few times per second. The method Firemin uses to decrease Firefox memory usage is not proven and the debate over if it works or not will go on until the end of time, but the logic remains; if it works for you, use it and if it does not, don’t use it. It is really ...

INetGet for Windows 1.02
INetGet for Windows 1.02 Simple command-line tool for downloading files via HTTP(S) or FTP, based on the WinINet API. This program provides a similar functionality as the well-known WGet and cURL tools. However, in contrast to those, INetGet is based directly on the "native" Windows Internet programming interface (WinINet). This comes at the advantage that INetGet is very small and lightweight, as it uses the HTTP(S) and FTP services provided by the operating system, instead of having to implement these protocols on its own. There are no external dependencies (e.g. OpenSSL or GnuTLS), except for standard system libraries that are present on every Windows system anyway. Still, advanced features, such as HTTPS and IPv6, are supported. Furthermore, since INetGet is based on the Windows crypto libraries, it uses the Windows certificate store. This means that, in contrast the aforementioned tools, you do not need to provide and maintain your own certificate bundle for HTTPS. Certificate updates as well as security fixes for the underlying cryptographic routines are automatically provided, via Windows Update. On the downside, you will have to trust Microsoft's protocol implementations. And the availability of some features depends on the Windows version. System Requirements INetGet works on Windows Vista or any later Windows version. Windows XP should work too, but is not recommended these days! The 32-Bit version of INetGet runs on all 32-Bit and 64-Bit Windows versions, while the 64-Bit version of INetGet requires a 64-Bit Windows version. IPv6 support requires Internet Explorer 7 or later. Note that all supported Windows versions (Vista or later) already meet this requirement. Windows XP requires manual update to IE7 in order to enable IPv6 support. As far as HTTPS support is concerned, all relevant Windows versions (XP or later) support TLS 1.0 as well as the deprecated SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 protocols. Support for ...

Lightbeam for Firefox 1.0.8
Lightbeam for Firefox 1.0.8 A Firefox add-on that enables you to see the first and third party sites you interact with on the Web. Using interactive visualizations, Lightbeam shows you the relationships between these third parties and the sites you visit. Using three distinct interactive graphic representations — Graph, Clock and List — Lightbeam enables you to examine individual third parties over time and space, identify where they connect to your online activity and provides ways for you to engage with this unique view of the Web. When you activate Lightbeam and visit a website, sometimes called the first party, the add-on creates a real time visualization of all the third parties that are active on that page. The default visualization is called the Graph view. As you then browse to a second site, the add-on highlights the third parties that are also active there and shows which third parties have seen you at both sites. The visualization grows with every site you visit and every request made from your browser. In addition to the Graph view, you can also see your data in a Clock view to examine connections over a 24-hour period or in a List view to drill down into individual sites. Limitations: Works with Firefox 19.0 and later

Mozilla Firefox Portable 62.0.3
Mozilla Firefox Portable 62.0.3 Portable Firefox is a fully functional package of Firefox optimized for use on a USB key drive. It has some specially-selected optimizations to make it perform faster and extend the life of your USB key as well as a specialized launcher that will allow most of your favorite extensions to work as you switch computers. It will also work from a CDRW drive (in packet mode), ZIP drives, external hard drives, some MP3 players, flash RAM cards and more. To install, just download the ZIP and unzip it to the root directory of your USB drive. It will create a "firefox" directory and all the requisite directories underneath. To use Firefox on your drive, launch it with the PortableFirefox.exe file in the firefox directory. DO NOT launch the firefox.exe file directly, as this will create a profile on your hard drive or use an existing one. Additionally, be sure you've closed any local copies of Firefox and that they've finished shutting down. Otherwise, a new window of your local install will be launched. This is a feature of Firefox itself to prevent multiple copies running at the same time. Mozilla Firefox - Your web, the way you like it: high performance, easy customization and advanced security. Features: Anti-Malware Firefox protects you from viruses, worms, trojan horses and spyware delivered over the Web. If you accidentally access an attack site, it will warn you away from the site and tell you why it isn’t safe to use. Anti-Phishing Shop and do business safely on the Internet. Firefox gets a fresh update of web forgery sites 48 times in a day, so if you try to visit a fraudulent site that’s pretending to be a site you trust (like your bank), a browser message—big as life—will stop you. NetStumbler 0.4.0
NetStumbler 0.4.0 NetStumbler is a tool for Windows that allows you to detect Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) using 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g. It has many uses: Verify that your network is set up the way you intended. Find locations with poor coverage in your WLAN. Detect other networks that might be causing interference with your network. Detect unauthorized "rogue" access points in your workplace. Help aim directional antennas for long-haul WLAN links. Use it recreationally for WarDriving. Requirements General Requirements The requirements for NetStumbler are somewhat complex and depend on hardware, firmware versions, driver versions and operating system. The best way to see if it works on your system is to try it. Some configurations have been extensively tested and are known to work. These are detailed at http://www.stumbler.net/compat. If your configuration works but is not listed, or is listed but does not work, please follow the instructions on the web site. The following are rules of thumb that you can follow in case you cannot reach the web site for some reason. This version of NetStumbler requires Windows 2000, Windows XP, or better. The Proxim models 8410-WD and 8420-WD are known to work. The 8410-WD has also been sold as the Dell TrueMobile 1150, Compaq WL110, Avaya Wireless 802.11b PC Card, and others. Most cards based on the Intersil Prism/Prism2 chip set also work. Most 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g wireless LAN adapters should work on Windows XP. Some may work on Windows 2000 too. Many of them report inaccurate Signal strength, and if using the "NDIS 5.1" card access method then Noise level will not be reported. This includes cards based on Atheros, Atmel, Broadcom, Cisco and Centrino chip sets. I cannot help you figure out what chip set is in any given card. Router Screen Capture 2.0.2
==Official Mirror== Router Screen Capture 2.0.2 Capture the WebPages of your router to submit to PcWinTech.com All you need to do is view every page in your router. Including clicking the add buttons (if any) on the port forwarding and port triggering pages. After each page is done loading the program will take a screenshot and capture the html code. Once your all done the program will let you upload the files to me. A typical router takes about 3 - 7 min to capture (30+ screens normally) This information is then used to add a screenshots page and "How To" guides on my website. Showing you how to do many things such as port forwarding, port triggering, and configuring your wireless. The html code is used to add your router to my Simple Port Forwarding program, allowing you to forward ports easier than ever. This program is totally free and very easy to use. Once you're done you simply click "Done". At which point the program will compress all the data into a single zip file and then ask you to upload the file to the site. You can even view the zip file and what was sent to me. The zip files are under the capture dir in the same dir as this program. I thank you for taking the time to get this data to me! If you need any help or notice a bug or error just contact me. What I plan on doing with these screens falls in this order: 1. Check and blur out any information on the screens such as IP addresses and such. 2. If possible add support for the router to the Simple Port Forwarding program. 3. Add the screenshots page for the router. 4. Write a port forwarding how to guide for the router. 5. Write a port triggering guide for the router. 6. ...

VLC Media Player 32bit 3.0.4
VLC Media Player 32bit 3.0.4 VLC Media Player is the most popular and robust multi format, free media player available. The open source media player was publically released in 2001 by non-profit organization VideoLAN Project. VLC Media Player quickly became very popular thanks to its versatile multi-format playback capabilities. It was aided by compatibility and codec issues which rendered competitor media players like QuickTime, Windows and Real Media Player useless to many popular video and music file formats. The easy, basic UI and huge array of customization options have enforced VLC Media Player’s position at the top of the free media players. Flexibility VLC plays almost any video or music file format you can find. At its launch this was a revolution compared to the default media players most people were using that often crashed or displayed “codecs missing” error messages when trying to play media files. VLC can play MPEG, AVI, RMBV, FLV, QuickTime, WMV, MP4 and a shed load of other media file formats. For a full list of compatible file formats please click here. Not only can VLC Media Player handle loads of different formats, VLC can also playback partial or incomplete media files so you can preview downloads before they finish. Easy to Use VLC’s UI is definitely a case of function over beauty. The basic look does however make the player extremely easy to use. Simply drag and drop files to play or open them using files and folders then use the classic media navigation buttons to play, pause, stop, skip, edit playback speed, change the volume, brightness, etc. A huge variety of skins and customization options mean the standard appearance shouldn’t be enough to prevent you choosing VLC as your default media player. Advanced Options Don’t let VLC Media Player’s simple interface fool you, within the playback, audio, video, tools and ...
