In this directory, you may deposit six different spec files. Items 1, 2 and 3
are typically files copied from AIRAC data sources. Just make sure you choose
the right format and name them appropriately.

1. "navaid.dat"

This file provides the source data for world navaids (VOR, NDB, LOC...). It
should follow the X-plane NAV format, preferably version 11.

If missing, ATC-pie will fall back on an old data cycle, very much out of date.

2. "fix.dat"

This file provides the source data for world fixes and RNAV points. It should
follow the X-plane FIX format, preferably version 11.

If missing, ATC-pie will fall back on an old data cycle, very much out of date.

3. "awy.dat"

This file provides the source data for world airways. It should follow the
X-plane AWY format, preferably version 11.

If missing, ATC-pie will fall back on an old data cycle, very much out of date.

4. "AD-positions"

This file provides a world-wide list of airfield names and positions. It should
specify one per line and end with a line containing a single integer count of
all entries. Each AD spec line follows the format:
  ICAO lat,lon Airfield long name

Line comments, starting with '#', are allowed.

If missing, ATC-pie will fall back on a list extracted from old data on first
run, and saved to "OUTPUT/AD-positions.extract" in the right format. You can
move the file here, removing its extension, and edit it to update the list.

5. "AD-entry-exit"

This file specifies entry and exit points for airports, connecting them to the
world airway network. They enable quick route suggestions between origin and
destination airfields on strip and FPL detail sheets. Each line is of either
following format, "entry" and "exit" being fixed tokens (verbatim):
ICAO_DEP exit navpoint [optional leg spec before navpoint, e.g. "SID"]
ICAO_ARR entry navpoint [optional leg spec after navpoint, e.g. "STAR"]

Line comments, starting with '#', are allowed.

6. "route-presets"

This file specifies route presets for origin-destination airport pairs. They
allow for easy recall on strip and FPL sheets. Using white space as the first
two separators, each line is of the form:
ICAO_1 ICAO_2 route saved from origin ICAO_1 to destination ICAO_2

Line comments, starting with '#', are allowed.

Route presets saved during sessions are appended to this file.
