BZFlag 2.4.10 for Mac
BZFlag 2.4.10 for Mac BZFlag is a 3D multi-player tank battle game that lets users to play against each other over a network. There are five teams: red, green, blue, purple and rogue (rogue tanks are black). Destroying a player on another team scores a win; being destroyed or destroying a teammate scores a loss. Rogues have no teammates (not even other rogues), so they cannot shoot teammates and they do not have a team score. There are two main styles of play: capture-the-flag and free-for-all. In capture-the-flag, each team (except rogues) has a team base and a team flag. The object is to capture an enemy team's flag by bringing it to your team's base. This destroys every player on the captured team, subtracts one from that team's score, and adds one to your team's score. In free-for-all, there are no team flags or team bases. The object is simply to get as high a score as possible. History of BZFlag (as told by ChrisSchoeneman) BZFlag began back in 1992 while I was a Masters student at the Cornell Program of Computer Graphics. I was an intern at SGI for the summers of '90 and '91, working on a prototype Indigo during the second summer which was a blast. So by 1992, IRIS GL was an old friend. At the Cornell PCG, essentially the only computers available were HP 700 series workstations. While CRX-24Z graphics wasn't too bad (around XS24-Z performance), HP's graphics library, Starbase, wasn't quite as easy to use as IRIS GL. In the words of fellow student Rick Pasetto, "Starbase sucks rocks." As a result, very few students wrote interactive graphics tools to assist their research. If you wanted to make an image you usually had to at least ray trace it. So Rick and I wrote an IRIS GL-like ...

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead 0.C-2834 for Linux
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead 0.C-2834 for Linux Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead is an open source apocalyptic survival roguelike with the ability to craft items, scavenge, forage, fight, and build both homes and vehicles. Originally created by Zachary "Whales" Jenkins, Cataclysm built up a decent following before the project was abandoned. The community never gave up on the game - a small group of dedicated modders, hackers, and contributors kept hacking a way at the code, even knowing it was never going to be mainlined, working instead on a myriad of mods played by the few players still lingering around slowly emptying forums. Eventually, they were contacted by a web developer with some space to spare, who was saddened by how a game with such great potential was dwindling, and saw an opportunity to truly breathe life back into the game. Darkling Wolf and Kevin Granade seized on the idea of spinning off a full-fledged branch project, as if they'd been waiting for the moment. The subtitle Dark Days Ahead was added to the end of the original name, a website was thrown together, and the word was sent out that, like the undead abominations that lurk it's street, Cataclysm was back on its feet and hungry for flesh blood. Since then, the team of active developers has grown. A number of developers have joined the project, and, with the aid of Let's Players like jefmajor, the fanbase has increased steadily, well past it's previous highs, and things are only looking up from here. There are some great new features in the pipeline, and the game is getting better every day. Hopefully, someday soon, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead will be as well known the giants of the genre, like Dungeon Crawl, ADOM and Unreal World. But we can't get there alone, so if ...

Centipede 1.0
Centipede 1.0 A remake of the classic Atari game for the PC. The Centipedes - consist of one or more attached segments which move horizontally through the playfield, moving one tile vertically when they hit the side of the screen, or a mushroom. Shoot a segment, and it will turn into a mushroom. If a centipede is split in half in this fashion, the segment behind the shot will form a head and you'll have two smaller centipedes to contend with. Mushrooms - harmless to the touch, but take four shots to destroy. The player and centipedes can't move through them. Poison mushrooms - These don't kill anything. But, when a centipede hits a poison mushroom, they go straight down until they hit the bottom of the screen. Spiders - they come in from the side and scurry around the bottom half of the screen really fast, making wibbledy-wibbledy sounds. Scorpions - they crawl through the top half of the screen and change mushrooms into poison mushrooms. Fleas - they occasionally drop through the screen, leaving a trail of mushrooms. Scoring: extra life every 12000 points Body segments 10pts Head 100pts Spider 300pts Flea 200pts Scorpian 1000pts Controls: Arrow keys to move Ctrl to fire You can also use the mouse to play set from startup page

Fistful of Gun
Fistful of Gun The game is a western topdown arcade shooter, hope you guys like it! I am still working on it and releasing builds on my twitter from time to time, so check em at @farmergnome , this is the first and probably most stable of the public builds. Enjoy! The 3 characters were specifically built with a certain input device in mind (keyboard, mouse, joypad) so that 3 players could play simultaneously without sharing devices. They each have different skills, weapons, movement speeds and upgrade patterns to suit there control device. -Keyboard controls Noah -[Shotgun] Z & X will fire each shotgun barrel, while directionals will move you around, you can double tap movement keys for a dash movement. You can edit his controls in config.ini in the root folder (each key uses a number - just use this as reference for remapping controls http://www.ascii-code.com/ ) -Joypad controls Abel- [Revolver] Left analog stick moves Abel around, flick the right analog stick to fire his weapon, kind of like the reload motion on a revolver. I have only tested this with wired/wireless 360 controllers currently. -Mouse controls Zeke- [Long Rifle] Left mouse button will move Zeke around, while holding Right mouse button will aim his rifle. Zeke will automatically cloak if you don't fire, firing or moving too close to enemies view cones will reveal him.

FreeCol for MacOSX 0.11.6
FreeCol for MacOSX 0.11.6 FreeCol is a turn-based strategy game based on the old game Colonization, and similar to Civilization. The objective of the game is to create an independent nation. You start with only a few colonists defying the stormy seas in their search for new land. Will you guide them on the Colonization of a New World? Changelog: FreeCol 0.11.6 The FreeCol team are glad to announce the release of FreeCol 0.11.6. This is a bug fix and incremental improvement release from 0.11.5. All 0.10.x and 0.11.x (x != 4) games should continue to work with 0.11.6. We hope you enjoy FreeCol 0.11.6. Onward to 1.0. The FreeCol Team Common problems Java 7 is no longer receiving active support, therefore this version of FreeCol switches to using Java 8 which is the currently supported release. This will hopefully fix the problems that many Mac users have been experiencing. If FreeCol 0.11.6 fails to run, check first if your installed Java libraries are up to date. There has been significant effort trying to track down cases where the lower right corner panel (InfoPanel) disappears for unknown reasons (see BR#2907 and elsewhere). If this is still occurring we are particularly interested in reproducible test cases with 0.11.6. Bugs 43 new bug reports have been made since 0.11.5 was released. 19 were fixed, 4 need more information, 3 were duplicates, 3 were invalid, 3 were rejected, 2 were quite minor and reclassified as improvement requests, leaving 9 definite new bugs. At least 7 older bug reports were also closed, 2 were fixed and 5 went out of date. There are now 50 open bug reports, many received partial fixes. The majority of cases are still UI issues, but the proportion of reports that are blocked needing further information is rising. Please remember, if you report a bug, check back to see ...

Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware beta9 - build 0.9.18.807
Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware beta9 - build 0.9.18.807 Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware uses advanced proactive technology that monitors what ransomware is doing and stops it cold before it even touches your files. It has no shot at encrypting. And it does not rely on signatures or heuristics, so itís light and completely compatible with antivirus. These methods proved to be so successful at stopping ransomware that Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware detected all of the latest and most dangerous ransomware variants right out of development and into beta 1. This means when running Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware, you do not have to worry about getting infected by CryptoLocker, CryptoWall, or CTBLocker. Better yet, it can defeat new ransomware the moment it is released, proactively protecting you from ransomware thatís never even been seen before. Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware open beta starts today and is available for anyone to install and try out. Please keep in mind that this is the first beta and there may be some bugs or issues that need to be worked out, so we encourage you to try it out in a non-production environment first.

SoundBoard 1.30
SoundBoard 1.30 The SoundBoard loads up to eighteen .wav files, and allows you to play them at the click of a button. Each sound clips can be renamed have its volume set, and a position chosen. This configuration can be saved, and loaded so that your SFX are always instantly available and at the correct volume and position. Six "favourite" sound schemes can be chosen so that they can be quickly retrieved. Multiple sounds can be played at a time, and the sound can be paused or stopped. Different colour schemes can be chosen to distinguish between multiple instances of the application. Each SFX has its duration displayed, and whilst playing either the time elapsed, or the time remaining can be shown. Volume and position changes are effective immediately, whether or not the SFX is playing. While playing, the light on the button associated with the sound is illuminated, and when paused, the light turns orange. The screen shot above is the program in action. The file on the top-right (which has been renamed as "SIS") is 3 minutes 21 seconds in duration, and is currently paused at 1 minutes 26 seconds. It's playing at full volume, unlike the sound named "I would never let..", which has been adjusted down to half volume. Once all volumes and start times have been set, the board can be set to "compact mode" to take up less screen space, while still giving access to the sounds names and play/pause/stop buttons. Keyboard shortcuts Each sound has a corresponding key on the keyboard which activates it- the keys 1 through 9, and Q through O. Tapping the key starts and pauses the sound, and holding shift as you do this stops the sound. To get a reminder of which key plays which sound, press control. Origin The program was designed to the specification ...
