Remove Windows Store Apps Script
Remove Windows Store Apps Script Remove Windows Store apps in Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Introduction This script can be used to remove multiple Windows Store apps from a user account in Windows. It provides a list of installed Windows Store apps. You can specify the application IDs, and remove them all at once. Scenarios In Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, you can remove a single Windows Store app by right-clicking the tile in the Start menu and choosing the uninstall command. However, no command is provided for removing multiple Windows Store apps all at once. If you want to do so, you can use this script sample. Sometimes Windows Store apps may crash in Windows 8. Even though you can successfully uninstall and reinstall the app, the app may still crash after the reinstallation. In this situation, you can use this example script to remove these Windows Store apps cleanly. Script Step 1: Move the cursor to the top right corner of the screen, click Search, type PowerShell, right-click the Windows PowerShell app tile, and then, on the app bar, click Run as administrator. Examples Example 1: How to display help about the script You can type the command Get-Help C:\Script\RemoveWindowsStoreApp.ps1 -Full to display the entire help file for this function, such as the syntax, parameters, or examples. This is shown in the following figure. Example 2: How to remove Windows Store apps To remove Windows Store apps, run the script directly, then choose the ID of each app that you want to remove. In this example, I suppose that you decide to remove "Games" and "Maps". The Windows Store apps as shown below. Run the script, and then choose the IDs for the "Games" and "Maps" apps (The IDs should be 4 and 17). Finally, confirm this action. The apps have been removed! Here are ...

ScionPC v8.3
ScionPC v8.3 Genealogical Management System ScionPC is free, portable, fully-featured, genealogy software with a modern, easy-to-use interface, ideal for both the novice and the experienced genealogist. Its focus is on the simple entry and clear display of family information. Databases from other family tree programs can be imported into ScionPC using its GEDCOM import facility. Just export your data from your old program as a GEDCOM file and then import that file into ScionPC - it's that easy. ScionPC uses a fully-documented, "open" XML database file format - don't be locked into a proprietary file system. The program has been written in a totally secular manner, has no checking on sex (to allow for "unconventional" relationships), and has no naming constraints (to allow for adopted children). The partners of a family group (or marriage/union) are referred to as "Prime" and "Partner" rather than "Husband & Wife" or "Father & Mother". Either partner can be the Prime. Free-form notes and sources can be created and viewed, and any files may be attached to any person or family. Other features include user-defined facts, dynamic on-screen ancestor and descendant charts, extensive on-line help, and powerful searching and filtering. ScionPC will run happily from a USB flash-drive as a "portable" application, and will leave no traces behind on any host computer. Take ScionPC and your database with you wherever you go. ScionPC has no limitations, no advertising, no "nagging", no registration required, no messing with your Windows Registry, and no spyware or other anti-social "nasties". And remember it's completely free! ScionPC employs a simple 3-step model... 1 Add people to the database (creating Personal Details Pages) 2 Join couples to create family groups (creating Family Details Pages) 3 Add children to the family groups (using Family Details Pages) Step 1: The Personal Details Page is used to enter and/or edit details about the people ...

Secondary, an email gateway may be used as an outgoing gateway in case you want to add some new email features which are not provided by older email servers. For instance, Exchange 2000 or 2003 has no DKIM signing and verification service - a quality improvement for message delivery. In order to start using this application you need to cover only the two steps of BASIC CONFIGURATION (points 1.1 and 1.2 below). 1. Basic configuration 1.1 CONNECT Set the network connection: IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS. 1.2 TRAFFIC You need to mention your domains and the responsible email server for each domain. Each domain must be unique, but the servers can have same value in case you are using one email server for multiple domains. The gateway system will become responsible for receiving emails that are addressed to all domains mentioned in this page and will forward the messages to the email servers. Optionally, in case you want ...

SharpKeys v3.9.3
SharpKeys v3.9.3 A free utility that manages a Registry key that allows Windows to remap one key to any other key. Included in the application is a list of common keyboard keys and a Type Key feature to automatically recognize most keyboard keys. It was originally developed in C# using .NET v2 but has been updated to support .NET 4.0 Client Profile From the author: "This is something that I've thrown together to help people out with their keyboard mappings. What's a keyboard mapping? How many times a day do you accidentally hit cAPS lOCK BY MISTAKE AND END UP HAVING TO GO BAck and retype stuff? For me it was at least once an hour - in fact, I used to pop off the Caps Lock key so I wouldn't hit it anymore, but I found something better in Windows XP, as well as 2000, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. There's a little used registry hack that allows you to remap keys across a keyboard. For me, this meant that I told my computer to treat Caps Lock as if it was a shift key, which it now does. The more I started working with other keyboard, the more I wanted to have this ability to map other keys across my keyboard, but working with the Hex numbers and having too look up scan codes could be painful... hence SharpKeys. SharpKeys is not responsible for any of the keyboard remapping functionality - it simply exposes a Registry key that controls how Windows remaps keys and has been available to us since Windows 2000. The list of keys that are included in the application are from most of the US-based keyboards that I've used over the years and is not guaranteed to be 100% complete for world keyboards." How do ...

ShellMenuView 32bit v1.30
ShellMenuView 32bit v1.30 ShellMenuView is a small utility that display the list of static menu items that appeared in the context menu when you right-click a file/folder on Windows Explorer, and allows you to easily disable unwanted menu items. System Requirements ShellMenuView works properly on any version of Windows starting from Windows 2000 and up to Windows 10. You can also use ShellMenuView on Windows 98 for viewing the menu items list, but the disable/enable feature won't work on this version of Windows. (The disabling feature is achieved by adding 'LegacyDisable' key to the desired menu item in the Registry, and this Registry key is not supported by Windows 98) Some of the menu items in the context menu of Explorer are created dynamically using shell extensions. In these cases, you can use the ShellExView utility to disable them. Versions History Version 1.30 Fixed the extension column: For Menu items that are currently not assigned to any file extension, the extension column now remains empty. Added 'UserChoice Key' column. If the value is 'Yes', it means that the reference to the menu item is found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\[File Extension]\UserChoice Added 'Registry Key' column. Added 'Hide Items Without File Extension' option.

Sim Daltonism for Mac v2.0.3
Sim Daltonism for Mac v2.0.3 A window to color blindness. From the perspective of a color blind person, some colors are impossible to distinguish. Sim Daltonism lets you visualize colors as they are perceived with various types of color blindness. Move the Sim Daltonism window over something on the screen and see what it looks like with a color blindness. With this app you can check the accessibility of websites and other user interfaces, make your visual designs better for color blind people, or just play around to better understand how various color blindness types affect color perception. The Filter Window The Sim Daltonism window acts as a filter for what is under it. You can click inside and manipulate windows from other apps that are located under it. But you can change this so the filter window follows the mouse pointer, displaying the area around it. This makes it possible to view the filtered image alonside the unfiltered one. Performance Sim Daltonism is fast enough to filter a video in real time or to have many filter windows active simultanously. If needed, you can reduce or increase the refresh speed to save energy or improve responsiveness. Simulated Vision Sim Daltonism can simulate the vision of many forms of color blindness: Red-Green Deuteranopia (no green cones) Deuteranomaly (anomalous green cones) Protanopia (no red cones) Protanomaly (anomalous red cones) Blue-Yellow Tritanopia (no blue cones) Tritanomaly (anomalous blue cones) All colors Monochromacy Partial monochromacy Note that the colors ...

So whether you don't understand how to forward ports, or you're simply looking for an easier way to forward ports then this program is for you. Its port forwarding made simple. The main interface of the program is small and clean. Giving options of seeing what is going to be forwarded to the router and how many entries and ports it will use in the process. You have the ability to save your list and send it to another user of the program. An example would be, lets say you have a family member who lives far from you and doesn't really understand port forwarding, so instead of spending a lot of time over the phone walking them through it you can simply have them use the program and have them load the list and update their router, then your all done. Now that's a time saver. The program has a large database of known ports for over 700+ games and programs, so finding the port you need is made a little easier. The program will also remember custom applications you put in, so you don't have to reenter them. The program remembers the last IP address you use to forward to, this helps not having to set it every time you load new ports! The program has many extra tools, such as a tool to set your IP to static or back to DHCP. When port forwarding the router ...

SNRemove v1.00
SNRemove v1.00 When a dll or exe file is signed with strong name keys, .NET doesn't allow you to modify it. If you try to use a signed assembly, after you have made some changes with Hex editor or any other tool, you'll get the following exception: An unhandled exception of type 'System.IO.FileLoadException' occurred in system.windows.forms.dll Additional information: Strong name validation failed for assembly 'MyAssembly.Test'. If you try to run a signed executable file after you have made some changes in it, you'll get the following error message: String name validation failed for assembly... The file may have been tampered with or it was partially signed but not fully signed with the correct private key. This utility removes the reference to strong name signature from .NET exe and dll files. After removing the strong name reference, you can make any change you want in dll/exe file, without getting any exception or error message. However, be aware that assemblies with no strong name reference cannot be added into the Global Assembly Cache (GAC). Using SNRemove Using SNRemove is very simple - just extract the snremove.exe to any folder you like, and run it from Command Prompt with the desired command-line parameters. SNRemove Usage SNRemove [options] <filename> Options: -r Remove the reference to Strong Name signature from the specified file. -d Display the Strong Name signature of the specified file. The <filename> parameter may also contain wildcards. Examples: SNRemove -r c:\myfiles\dll1.dll SNRemove -d "c:\my files\*.dll" System Requirements Although this utility is designed to work with exe and dll files created for .NET environment, the utility by itself wasn't written in .NET, which means that it can work in all versions of Windows, even if .NET Framework is not installed. License This utility is released as freeware. You are allowed to freely distribute this utility via floppy disk, CD-ROM, Internet, or in any other way, as long as you ...

Sonic.EXE - The Game 7.0.0
Sonic.EXE - The Game 7.0.0 A scary, dark, twisted Sonic game. Sonic.EXE is based on the Creepypasta "Sonic.EXE" created by Mr. JC Hyena. The Official Sonic.EXE Game Sonic.EXE Version 7 is finally here! This update brings a variety of graphical improvements, audio improvements, no less a few 'not-so-little' updates to the game world. To top it off, there are a number of performance optimisations made to the game's engine to help the gameplay experience feel that little bit smoother. Some old secrets still lurk, but may appear different in form - and some? May have even been replaced by new, sinister worlds where the influence of 'X' has spread. Explore, and don't think for a second that the path you've taken will remain the same - turn back, keep your eyes peeled for changes. You may be rewarded for your efforts. Well... "reward" might not be the word for it.~ The game took about 3 days to whip up, and is not a full representation of my programming ability - it was simply something I made for a laugh. I never expected it to come this far since the original release. Bear that in mind. Some Antivirus software may report this program - rest assured, this is a false positive. Space Invaders OpenGL v0.6.1
Space Invaders OpenGL v0.6.1 A 2D/3D game based on the old arcade classic in which you must destroy enemy ships by shooting them up. It is developed in OpenGL under Visual C++, and is still in development. It should run under Windows 98/XP/Vista with a 3D accelerator card and OpenGL drivers. Note: For Windows 7,8,10 and 11 you need to right click the exe file and run as administrator. Also, you need to choose a windowed mode. If you experience an error message about msvcr70.dll please extract and put this file in windows/system32 for win 2000/XP or windows/system for win 98/ME. History Not many people know that Mr Nishikado, who wrote the original Space Invaders, actually based it on a real occurrence in 1977. It was Christmas Eve and what happened was a load of Japanese schoolkids, sitting waiting for Santa to appear in the sky above Hokkaido, saw row upon row of aliens advancing slowly from Venus. The clever kids realized the threat to Earth and quickly cobbled together a laser blaster from the hubcap, spark-plugs and battery of a parked car. They moved left and right, blasting aliens out of the sky. After about four waves, the aliens gave up and the Earth was saved. The next morning (Xmas Day) the kids were rewarded with extra presents and figgy pudding. And that's how it happened. Backed by a thudding bass beat, dozens of invaders from another world descended on our planet in 1978. Within months, Space Invaders was one of the hottest fads on the globe, helping propel the video arcade into a multi-billion dollar industry. The invasion began in Japan. Programmer Toshihiro Nishikado took the classic sci-fi riff of alien invasion and transported it to the video screen. The otherworlders, arranged in a tight row and column formation, marched left and right across ...

Tasks can be sorted by all task attributes, e.g. subject, budget, budget left, due date, etc. Several filters to e.g. hide completed tasks or view only tasks that are due today. Tasks can be created by dragging an e-mail message from a mail user agent (Outlook, Thunderbird, Claws Mail, Apple Mail) onto a task viewer. Attachments can be added to tasks, notes, and categories by dragging and dropping files, e-mail messages, or URL's onto a task, note or category. Task status depends on its subtask and vice versa. E.g. if you mark the last uncompleted subtask as completed, the parent task is automatically marked as completed too. Tasks and notes can be assigned to user-defined categories. Settings are persistent and saved automatically. The last opened file is loaded automatically when starting Task Coach. Tracking time spent on tasks. Tasks can have a budget. TcpLogView v1.41
TcpLogView v1.41 A simple, free utility that monitors the opened TCP connections on your system, and adds a new log line every time that a TCP connection is opened or closed. For every log line, the following information is displayed: Even Time, Event Type (Open, Close, Listen), Local Address, Remote Address, Remote Host Name, Local Port, Remote Port, Process ID, Process Name, and the country information of the Remote IP (Requires to download IP to country file separately.) System Requirements and Limitations This utility works on any version of Windows, starting from Windows 2000 and up to Windows 11. On 64-bit systems, you should use the x64 build of TcpLogView. This utility creates the TCP log by taking a snapshot of currently open TCP connections, and comparing it to the previous snapshot. This means that if a TCP connection is opened for a very short time, then TcpLogView will not be able to capture it. On Windows Vista/7/8 with UAC turned on, you should run TcpLogView as administrator if you want to get full process information. Changes: Version 1.41: Added 'CaptureInterval' value to the .cfg file. This value determines the number of milliseconds that TcpLogView waits before taking the next TCP connections snapshot. The default interval is 100 milliseconds (In previous versions it was 250 milliseconds). You can manually decrease this value if you want to capture TCP connections opened for very short time. Start Using TcpLogView TcpLogView doesn't require any installation process or additional dll files. In order to start using it, simply run the executable file - TcpLogView.exe After running TcpLogView, it starts logging the TCP connections, and adds a new line every time that TCP connection is opened or closed. You can clear the current log by using ...

The Bridge Designer 2016
The Bridge Designer 2016 Design a bridge. Learn about engineering. Change the world. The Bridge Designer is a free educational software package designed to provide middle-school and high-school students with a realistic introduction to engineering through the design of a highway truss bridge. The winner of two major national awards for educational software development, the Bridge Designer has the “look and feel” of the computer-aided design (CAD) packages used by practicing engineers but is much easier to use. It can be installed on either Windows or Mac computers. Overview The Bridge Designer will provide you with a realistic introduction to engineering through an authentic, hands-on design experience. This software provides you with the tools to model, test, and optimize a steel highway bridge, based on realistic specifications, constraints, and performance criteria. The Bridge Designer is free and in the public domain. It is provided and intended for educational use only. How it works When you start up the Bridge Designer, you are presented with the project requirement--to design a steel truss bridge to carry a two-lane highway across a deep river valley. Using the Design Project Setup Wizard, choose from a variety of different deck elevations and support configurations for your bridge. Each will cause the structure to carry load in a different way, and each has a different cost. After defining the deck elevation and support configuration, create a structural model by drawing joints and members on the computer screen with your mouse. Each member has its own unique properties--material, cross-section shape, and size. You can define these properties as you design the structure--or just accept the default values and modify them later. Once the structural model is complete, click the Load Test Button to run a simulated load test of your bridge. This test will determine whether your design is strong enough to carry ...

Tweaking.com - Registry Backup v4.0.0
Tweaking.com - Registry Backup v4.0.0 Registry Backup is a free backup tool that will use the Windows Volume Shadow Copy Service to backup your system registry. Key Features: The program is 100% free. One click backup and restore. Can restore from Windows Safe Mode. Portable version can be run from a thumb drive and keep backups of multiple systems. Automatic cleanup of older backups. Set and control scheduling options. Can backup & restore all user profiles on the system, not just the ones that are currently loaded. Control which registry files are backed up or restored. Detailed logs are saved with each backup. Multiple easy restore options. Online videos showing how to use the program and how to use the different restore options. Quick FAQ: Q: Does Tweaking.com - Registry Backup support Windows 2000 or older? A: The program only supports Windows XP and newer because older versions don't have the volume shadow copy service. For older operating systems I recommend my old favorite Erunt. Download - http://majorgeeks.com/Erunt_d1267.html Q: Why does the program use the Volume Shadow Copy Service instead of the RegSaveKey API like Erunt and others? A: Microsoft recommends using the Volume Shadow Copy to backup up the registry. This grabs a complete backup of the registry hives as they are. RegSaveKey function Quote From Microsoft: "Applications that back up or restore system state including system files and registry hives should use the Volume Shadow Copy Service instead of the registry functions." "Using RegSaveKey together with RegRestoreKey to copy subtrees in the registry is not recommended. This method does not trigger notifications and can invalidate handles used by other applications." By using the Volume Shadow Copy instead of the RegSaveKey API, this registry backup program is safer to use. Changelog: v4.0.0 Updated controls, bug fixes and code changes. Click here to visit ...

In some cases, the flash drive might not be assigned a drive letter and the USB not detected by your computer or smart TV. This is simply because these tools use raw-write style to transfer data in disk image (usualy an .img or .iso file) to a USB flash drive. As a result, the existing MBR (Master Boot Record is the boot sector located at the very beginning of partitioned storage devices), partition table, HPA (Host Protected Area is an area of a storage drive that is not normally visible to an operating system), and/or file system is overwritten with that of the raw image file. USB Drive Factory Reset Tool is software that helps you wipe clean and factory set your USB flash drive, pen drive, thumb drive, and any other USB storage devices back to the way ...

Visual Subst v1.0.6
Visual Subst v1.0.6 Map virtual drives easily and reduce long paths to just one letter. Visual Subst is a small tool that allows you to associate the most accessed directories with virtual drives. It uses the same API similar to the console 'subst' utility, but makes it easier to create and remove virtual drives in a GUI way. You can use virtual drives everywhere! Press ALT+F1 in the file manager and switch to a project directory where hundreds of various files are kept. Using virtual drives, these files can be quickly accessed at any time. Note for Programmers If you have the Platform SDK installed and use it frequently, it might be convenient to create a virtual drive mapped to the Samples directory. Doing so, you can easily reduce a long path like “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Platform SDK\Samples\Multimedia\DirectShow” to just one letter. How It Works Generally, a virtual drive is a symbolic link in the local MS-DOS device namespace. It is just one more Windows feature added for backward compatibility with old programs. Virtual drives are therefore objects of the operating system, and Visual Subst can create, enumerate and remove these objects. All local MS-DOS device names are removed when the user logs off. To handle this issue, Visual Subst saves the list of virtual drives and loads them on the next boot. System Requirements Visual Subst runs on Windows 2000/XP and newer operating systems. It doesn’t require installation. It’s fully portable because all settings are stored into an INI-file. And it’s FREE! Click here to visit the author's website.

WakeMeOnLan v1.91
WakeMeOnLan v1.91 This utility allows you to easily turn on one or more computers remotely by sending Wake-on-LAN (WOL) packet to the remote computers. When your computers are turned on, WakeMeOnLan allows you to scan your network, and collect the MAC addresses of all your computers, and save the computers list into a file. Later, when your computers are turned off or in standby mode, you can use the stored computers list to easily choose the computer you want to turn on, and then turn on all these computers with a single click. WakeMeOnLan also allows you to turn on a computer from command-line, by specifying the computer name, IP address, or the MAC address of the remote network card. Be aware that Wake-on-LAN feature only works on wired network. Wireless networks are not supported. • In order to enable the Wake-on-LAN feature on the remote computer: - On some computers, you may need to enable this feature on the BIOS setup. - In the network card properties, you should go to the 'Power Management' and/or 'Advanced' ...

If you clear the history of Internet Explorer, WebBrowserPassView won't be able to decrypt the passwords. • On Google Chrome - passwords originally imported from Internet Explorer 7.0-9.0, cannot be decrypted.
